Repurposing Tragedy: Local Organization Blends Creativity with Suicide Prevention

"Worth It: refinishing, repurposing, revitalizing furniture and small items for home decor. Our creative process transforms older pieces and brings them back to life."

After losing her brother to suicide in 2014, Danielle Graham Hill and her mother Joy decided to turn their family's tragedy into an opportunity for new life by blending creativity with suicide prevention to create "Worth It." Based in Central Florida, the team at "Worth It" refinishes, repurposes, and revitalizes furniture and everyday household items, which are then sold locally. In the future, Danielle plans to solidify "Worth It" as a nonprofit organization, and hopes to continue raising awareness about suicide and its prevention.

We're thrilled to welcome Danielle into the Andee's family, and can't wait to see what the future holds for "Worth It!" Check out Danielle's wire trees here, or visit the store to see them IRL. To learn more about "Worth It," click here to visit their website, or check them out on Facebook.
